In view of the 'credit crunch' I've decided to try to itemise the cost of safely rearing a litter of kittens. I haven't included the cost of heating rooms for 24 hours, 7 days a week when we have a litter. Nor for the cost of cleaning products, of having the washer running several times daily to clean keep the kittens pristine. No sleep for two or three day and nights in a row waiting for the kittens to be born!
