I stopped breeding in 1999 when I moved to The Netherlands to be with my fiance and run a business. The intention was to move my cats once settled and they moved temporarily to live with my parents. However, I should have realised that once the cats were there they would get their claws into the hearts of my parents and that is exactly what happened. So, our cats stayed in England, initially in Sheffield, but from 2002 they have lived with my Mum in Exeter.
Moving back to England, I imported a very beautiful Devon Rex girl from Italy, Leyla Skywalker Degli Elfi as I felt that much outcrossing had occured to improve the health of the breed, but to the detriment of the type.
LEYLA SKYWALKER DEGLI ELFI
Brown/Silver Tortie Tabby Darker Point Devon Rex
Leyla has now had three litters of kittens, her first litter of one gave us Beag, her second litter gave us five lovely kittens of which, Rosa has stayed with us to continue these lines. She in turn has now had her first litter of three girls, all of whom have now gone to their new homes. Leyla's third litter of 4 gave us three handsome boys and one beautiful girl.
This page gives more information about Leyla and the importing process through the Pet Passport procedure.
