CONTRACT OF SALE
AGREEMENT made between Misses A.E. and R.E. Hobson, Vendor and Breeder)

I the Purchaser agree and undertake that in relation to
Nobilero__________________________________________D.O.B._______
This cat/kitten is sold on the understanding that it has the potential for
PET / SHOW / BREEDING
1.The Purchased shall at all times care for the cat/kitten in a good and proper manner as befitting a cat/kitten of this pedigree.
2.The Purchaser shall not part with possession of the kitten for any period in excess of three weeks at any time except as specified in Clause 3 of the Agreement.
If at any time the Purchaser shall no longer wish to own the kitten and retain it in his/her own personal possession, the cat/kitten will be immediately returned to the breeder and under no circumstance be homed or placed elsewhere without prior written permission. The Purchaser understands that failure to adhere to this condition will result in court proceedings.
3.If sold as having breeding potential then only matings with a suitable registered cat shall be arranged unless an outcross program has been agreed prior in writing. Any resulting kittens shall be reared, vaccinated and sold or re-homed in accordance with GCCF guidelines. No responsibility can be accepted by the breeder should the kitten fail to succeed as a breeding adult.
4.The Purchaser agrees that no males are to be kept or sold as studs unless agreed prior, in writing with the Breeder.
5.If sold as a pet, the kitten shall not, at any time be shown without the Breeder having prior knowledge and giving their consent in writing. Kittens sold as pets will be neutered/spayed prior to placement in new home.
6.If sold as having show potential, the breeder cannot guarantee the success of the kitten in competitions.
7.The kitten is insured for 6 weeks following its arrival in your new home. No responsibility can be accepted for any illness occurring after purchase or for any stress related symptoms caused due to the kitten leaving its mother and litter mates, or from travelling. Any illness contracted by the kitten from the breeder's household will be covered as per clause 18. Kittens will have been checked by a veterinary surgeon at the time of vaccination.
8The Purchaser shall provide adequate health care for the cat/kitten including annual immunizations, keeping the kitten free from internal and external parasites. The Purchaser is expected to provide timely veterinary care for any illness or injury incurred throughout the lifetime of this cat/kitten.
9.The Kitten(s) shall not be sold, leased, given or lent to any Pet Shop, Retail Outlet, or Research Establishment
10.In the event of the Purchaser(s) being unable to maintain the Kitten(s), the Vendor shall be informed immediately, and shall reserve the right to repossess the Kitten(s) at any age, and without financial compensation.
11.The Kitten will under NO circumstances be declawed.
12. Once a deposit is placed, should the purchaser change their mind about the purchase, the deposit will not be refunded, unless the breeder is unable to provide the cat/kitten
13. The Purchaser(s) understand(s) that if there is a failure to keep any part of this agreement, or if the Kitten is neglected, maltreated, or is failing to receive adequate medical care, the Purchaser will surrender said Kitten to the Vendor unconditionally and without financial restitution or compensation.
14. The Purchaser shall provide adequate space, exercise, fresh water, food and litter on a daily basis for the cat/kitten. The cat/kitten should not be allowed to roam in the local neighbourhood and the cat/kitten has been sold on the understanding that he/she is to be an indoor animal. If the cat/kitten is allowed outside then the purchaser understands that this is solely at the owners risk and that the conditions of this contract are being contravened.
15. This contract can only be modified in writing if signed by all parties hereto.
16. The cat/kitten has been immunised against Feline Infectious Enteritis, Feline Rhinotracheitis and Calici Virus.
17. The cat/kitten has been wormed, has no ear mites or other external parasites and comes from an FELV/FIV tested household where all results have proved negative. No other testing is carried out and no claim is expressed or implied in relation to any other testing for any other conditions that cats and kittens may be in contact with. This is in accordance with GCCF guidelines.
18. For this guarantee to be effective, the cat/kitten must be examined by a Veterinary Surgeon of the Purchaser's choice within 72 hours of purchase to confirm the condition of its health. If a licensed Veterinary Surgeon verifies in writing that any illness was contracted prior to the sale date, the breeder shall, at its option either (1) refund the purchase price upon return of the kitten to the breeder or (2) pay the excess of the insurance policy and any costs not covered by the insurance policy for the Veterinary services to make the cat/kitten well. All claims under this guarantee must be made within two weeks of purchase.
There are no other warranties or guarantees either expressed or implied.
In signing this document, the Purchaser agrees that the kitten was visibly in good health and was given every opportunity to check the kitten's general health, also that the purchaser understands and agrees with the terms of the contract.

If the Purchaser has any doubt as to the health of the cat/kitten then the cat/kitten must be rejected at the point of sale, whereupon the Breeder will request Veterinary attention. The Breeder is not a Veterinary Surgeon.
THIS AGREEMENT IS BINDING AND SHALL REMAIN IN FORCE THROUGHOUT THE LIFE OF THE KITTEN
